Inglewood Hotel - What's On in and around Douglas and Isle of Man

Love it. Good comfy seats. Lift to their level. No smelly popcorn or hot dogs but a vending machine if you're desperate for a fizzy drink, crisps or chocolate. Otherwise take your own.

Nice cinema with two screens, they always have the latest movies and I've never not been able to book or had an issues booking. Great viewing experience and a good selection at the concession, with its own car park. You need to pay for parking but it's not very much

The best cinema (even though there are only two) on the Isle of man. It generally gets all of the greatest and most popular films. This includes Marvel, DC, etc. They also offer a great selection of drinks and snacks. However, like all cinemas everywhere their food and beverages are all severely overpriced. This also applies to tickets, especially considering you are paying high prices for a cinema that doesn't even offer the IMAX experience. They are severely behind all UK cinemas, yet they are really successful because they have next to no competition. If a high quality company from the UK were to come to the Isle of Man, it is almost certain that the Palace Cinema would go out of business near instantly. We need a better cinema desperately, but for now this is the best cinema that the Isle of Man has to offer. Once again, it is an alright cinema, but it is nothing compared to the sorts of cinemas you would find in the UK.

It is a beautiful Victorian theatre. i can recommend booking a box for up to three people, for four it is a bit too small. We watched a play by the Manx operatic society which was superb, awesome to see their elaborate performance which must have taken a lot of passion to master.

Fascinating insight into the "behind the scenes" on the tour. Beautiful theatre with a very interesting history. Well worth doing the tour
