Great place to come to for food. The portions are of reasonable size, the hand cut chips are delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly as per my request.

A very nice and cozy place. Staff are unbelievably friendly and pure pleasure to talk to. The food is good and served nicely and efficiently. Can definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and easy meal or morning coffee.

Really nice place and food excellent. Keema balti very tasty. You must try the Halwa on the dessert menu - hot semolina with nuts, sultanas, butter, coconut milk and syrup... delicious! Really nice staff too. :-)

Top draw. Fist time hear. The best Indian iv ever had. I had the lamb madras and my mother had the shrimp korma. £42 for 2 meals extras and 3 pints of cobra. Ppl try this place I highly recommend

Lovely food, menu was different to the normal run of the mill Indian restaurant. The chicken pakora with fennel seeds was fabulous. Would def recommend.

We reserved a table for two but reservations are not necessary as it was quiet. The staff was very friendly and professional. The furniture was modern, clean and comfortable. Service was fast, it didn't take long for the food to arrive. Both dishes were delicious, the portions were well sized. We would recommend Bayleaf to anyone who wants to have a quiet dinner out.

Bayleaf is a well run Indian restaurant in Isle of Man. The managers Niru runs the place very well . The food is fresh and made to authentic Indian recipes . He atmospheres good and pleasant , clean and vibrant . As an Indian I can say this is the best Indian restaurant I have tasted in Isle of Man . They cook to your style and the portions are filling . Do visit it when you are in Isle of Man .

We are from manchester visiting family. Our daughter and her boyfriend ate here on their 1st anniversary together. Last night (3rd Feb) they celebrated 5 years together and George propose to her too. Its was such a special night to start with but just got better and better. ALL the staff were so friendly and joined us in congratulating the happy couple as well as the rest of us too. The gave the men in the party a celebratory whiskey and gave all of us a lovely lemon shot. The food we ordered was served in no time and was so delicious. Cooked to perfection. Enjoyed by all. On behalf of our family I would like to thank you all for great service, fabulous food and a genuine warm and friendly atmosphere xxxx

Good Italian food friendly service

The food was very tasty. Food was generally between 16 and £25. Managed to find a sea fish pasta meal for £13.50. Desert very good too, Belgian Nuttela waffle £6. Staff were friendly and patient with me considering I explained that I was on a budget!

The food here was super yummy! Their lunch menu was under £10. They have a very large regular menu, where things are more in the £16-£22 range. I got the pork on bruschetta and loved it. My friends got pizza and I would highly recommend those. Our only complaint was how warm it was inside the restaurant.

The best lobster I've had for years. The food and ombionce second to none. Fantastic evening. This restaurant has got it right.

When we asked where to go for casual drinks on our visit near Douglas, the first name we were given was Jak's. A standard bar with a cocktail bar downstairs and a restaurant upstairs. Nothing special but not a dive. A nice, casual place for drinks.

Good burgers and steak in the restaurant upstairs. Seems to be busy most nights so reservations are a good idea especially during the summer. Downstairs is a sports bar that has multiple large screen arrays which shows a great range of different sports and matches.

Food and service excellent. Only down side a bit pricey.

under a new name but just as good if not better.... went on the Wednesday as they have an offer on.... it's currently bring your own alcohol.... Well worth a visit

not brilliant, not terrible. at the time I went the place didn't have an alcohol licence. curry and tango just isn't the same. food quality is medium to high. the marinades are tasty but the meat hasn't been within a mile of a real tanduri oven.

Excellent food, a proper fish & chippy.

Since the recent refurbishment, new menus have been introduced and the food is better. The restaurant is now bright and modern and the staff are very pleasant and welcoming.
