I visited this church for the first time last Sunday morning (08 April). I was visiting the island, I'm originally from the Isle of Man and now reside in Liverpool, and sailed back later that day. The service and sermon were good but what made more of a lasting impression upon me were the three very friendly individuals that spoke to me after the service. The lady from Hull, where I used to live, we must have talked for ages, the lady from Liverpool and the man from Garforth, Leeds. I came to the church alone so I really appreciated meeting and having conversations with those three individuals. My visit to the Broadway Baptist Church was a highlight of my short stay in Douglas, I.O.M
I have not personally been to this church but my college daughter attended a few weeks ago. She really enjoyed the service and a young couple in the church took her to lunch and took her and her friend on a tour of the island. How wonderful it is to see brothers and sisters in Christ taking care of my child who is so far from home. Thank you so much and God bless you!
