I was a patient here in June 2017 when I developed dvt in my right leg. As a visitor to your beautiful country, I was amazed at the service I received from all staff, nurses and doctors. Even the Bee cafe staff at the main entrance. This could only be compared to the treatment one would receive in an expensive private hospital in my country of New Zealand. You made me feel comfortable at my time of need and I cannot speak highly enough of all concerned. Thank you. Best wishes. Lindsay Robinson
Needed the services of Nobles Hospital a few times. Staff always professional, attentive and friendly. Cannot fault it

I visited this church for the first time last Sunday morning (08 April). I was visiting the island, I'm originally from the Isle of Man and now reside in Liverpool, and sailed back later that day. The service and sermon were good but what made more of a lasting impression upon me were the three very friendly individuals that spoke to me after the service. The lady from Hull, where I used to live, we must have talked for ages, the lady from Liverpool and the man from Garforth, Leeds. I came to the church alone so I really appreciated meeting and having conversations with those three individuals. My visit to the Broadway Baptist Church was a highlight of my short stay in Douglas, I.O.M
I have not personally been to this church but my college daughter attended a few weeks ago. She really enjoyed the service and a young couple in the church took her to lunch and took her and her friend on a tour of the island. How wonderful it is to see brothers and sisters in Christ taking care of my child who is so far from home. Thank you so much and God bless you!

24 Castle Dr, Douglas IM1 2EZ – 01624 613650
A very nice and cozy place. Staff are unbelievably friendly and pure pleasure to talk to. The food is good and served nicely and efficiently. Can definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and easy meal or morning coffee.
The one in Peel we feel is the best. The one in the Sefton Hotel is good for afternoon tea. The cafe in Castle Street is quite basic and the food on occasions below what you would expect. However, at other times it is fine.
Best Western Palace Hotel ♦ Casino, Central Promenade, IM2 4NA – 01624 662662
We attend this restaurant regularly as the view is spectacular, the room temperature comfortable and the parking easy for my elderly parents. The staff are always friendly, pleasant and helpful. There is always a carvery with additional choices such as a curry or a bourguinon and plenty of vegetables. This can be preceeded by hot soup or a selection of cold cuts, and then a choice of deserts. You pay for the number of courses that you choose - so both the hearty eater and the morsel - taster are both catered for. It's not haute cuisine, but it makes a very pleasant place to dine-out comfortably. I certainly recommend it to those who like a little tranquility (rather than loud music) while dining.
